Some resilient floors are vinyl, but not all vinyl floors are resilient.

There are two categories of vinyl flooring. That is sheet vinyl and luxury vinyl tile (LVT).

Vinyl flooring installation For this section, we will refer to sheet vinyl only as vinyl, or vinyl flooring.

LVT has all the benefits of vinyl and is available in a wide array of colors. It can also look good anywhere.

Spare luxury vinyl tiles can be kept on hand to renovate worn areas. The LVT format opens up unlimited opportunities for creating unique patterns.

Nonetheless, vinyl flooring also offers you many tempting advantages.

There is no other floor covering category that provides you the selection, styling, ease of maintenance, and value as a vinyl floor!

Thanks to some significant improvements in styling and technology, vinyl floors have been changed forever.

Vinyl flooring can now realistically simulate the look and textures of real ceramic, stone, and wood grain patterns.

These incredible imitations have such unbelievable realism; it is difficult for most people to tell whether it’s the actual thing or not. Who needs to know, right?

Finally, this is a note about linoleum, which is not a durable flooring, but the one you probably recall as the original kitchen and bath flooring.

While linoleum is enjoying somewhat of a resurgence, the most prevalent floor covering material in this category is vinyl.
