Carpet Installation in NE Georgia
Bedrooms. Bonus rooms. Basements. Commercial spaces. Professional installation on the day we said we'd be there.
Carpet still makes sense in a lot of places. Bedrooms are warmer and quieter with carpet. Bonus rooms and playrooms are softer for kids. Basements benefit from the insulation. And commercial carpet tile is still the most cost-effective flooring for offices and retail spaces.
We carry residential and commercial carpet options in our showroom. Bring your room measurements, tell us what the room is for, and we'll point you toward products that fit the use and the budget. No pressure to upgrade when the standard option does the job.
Our installation crews stretch-in with a power stretcher — not just a knee kicker — which means your carpet lays flat and stays flat. Seams are placed in low-traffic, low-visibility areas. Transitions to hard surface at doorways are finished clean. And we haul away the old carpet when we're done.
When Carpet Is the Right Call
Bedrooms
Warm underfoot first thing in the morning. Quieter than any hard surface — no footsteps echoing overhead. And if you or your kids spend time on the floor, carpet is the most comfortable option by a wide margin.
Bonus Rooms & Playrooms
Kids fall down. Carpet softens the landing. It also absorbs sound, which matters when the bonus room is directly above the living room. We install stain-resistant options that hold up to juice boxes and crayons.
Basements
Carpet adds warmth and insulation to concrete slab floors. For basements that don't have moisture issues, carpet makes a cold, hard space feel like part of the house. We'll assess your basement's moisture level before recommending carpet.
Stairs
Carpet on stairs reduces noise, adds traction, and softens falls. We wrap treads cleanly with tight tucks and no visible seams. For stairways that connect hard-surface floors, carpet runners are also an option.
Commercial Spaces
Commercial carpet tile is modular, replaceable, and cost-effective. If one section stains or wears, you replace that tile — not the whole floor. Offices, retail, churches, and medical offices. We install on weekends when your business needs us to.
When It Doesn't
We'll be straight: carpet doesn't belong in kitchens, bathrooms, or high-moisture areas. And if you have severe pet allergies, hard surface flooring is easier to keep allergen-free. We'll tell you when LVP or hardwood is the better call.

Why Installation Quality Matters
Carpet is only as good as its installation. A power stretcher pulls the carpet tight across the room so it doesn't wrinkle or buckle over time. A knee kicker — what the cheap guys use — gets it close but not tight. In a year, you'll see ripples.
Seam placement matters too. We plan seam locations before cutting so they fall in low-traffic, low-visibility areas — not in the middle of a hallway. Seams are heat-bonded with seam tape, not just butted together. When done right, you shouldn't be able to find them.
We warranty our installation work. If a seam opens or carpet buckles because of our install, we fix it. Period.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most residential carpet jobs are completed in one day. A typical 3-bedroom installation takes 4–6 hours including removal of old carpet, subfloor prep, and cleanup. Larger homes or commercial spaces may take 2 days. We schedule a specific install date — not a vague window.
We use 8-pound density rebond pad as our standard — it provides good cushion and support without being so thick that it causes the carpet to wrinkle. For stairs and high-traffic areas, we may recommend a firmer pad. The pad matters more than most people think — cheap pad wears out before the carpet and makes the whole floor feel flat.
Yes. We do full stair installations and runners. Carpet on stairs is power-stretched over each tread with tight tucks at the risers — no loose spots, no visible tack strips. For runners, we can install with exposed wood on each side for a clean look. Stair work is priced per step because of the additional labor.
Carpet is warmer, quieter, and softer underfoot — most people prefer it in bedrooms, especially upstairs where sound matters. LVP is easier to clean and better for allergy sufferers. If you have pets that have accidents, LVP wins. If you want the coziest possible bedroom, carpet wins. We install both and can show you options in the showroom.
Yes. We pull up the old carpet and pad, remove old tack strips if needed, and haul everything away. It's included in the installation price — you don't need to arrange separate disposal. We also inspect and prep the subfloor before laying new pad and carpet.
Installed cost typically ranges from $3–$8 per square foot depending on carpet quality, pad thickness, and whether old flooring needs to be removed. That includes materials, pad, labor, and disposal of old carpet. We provide a written quote after measuring your rooms — no hidden fees or surprise charges.
