Whether to Recoat or Refinish
Recoating wood floors is a preservation process that protects your floors for a lifetime of beauty and service. This 1-day process replaces the polyurethane finish that wears off over time. Recoating will fill in small scratches and return the original shine to your floors. Scratches, deep gouges, and discoloration will not be corrected with a hardwood recoat service.
Refinishing wood floors is essential in several situations. If your floors have worn through the initial finish and the wood is beginning to turn a grey color, if you want to eliminate dog nail dents and deep scratches, or if we are adding new wood flooring to your existing wood floors, we can attain a perfect color match and seamless installation by refinishing the older floors at the same time.
